The amount of salt will vary from salt maker to salt maker as it is based on the ratio of ingredients contained in their products ie pure essential oils etc. For a detox bath soak you can add up to 2 cups of bath salts without scent, oils or colour. As everyone has different tolerances to different ingredients. If you have sensitive skin try using less than that recommended and increase to an amount that you are comfortable with. If you are unsure if you are allergic or sensitive to an ingredient such as pure essential oils, it is always recommended that you test a product on a small area of your skin first before soaking in a full tub or ask your doctor. |
